Rival RV, a pre-launch service operated by Lokale LLC (“Rival RV”, “we”, “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) on rivalrv.com. This policy explains what we set, why, and the choices you have. For how we handle personal data more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.

Cookies we use

Essential Cookies

Always active

Required for the site to function. These cannot be disabled without breaking core features such as signing in and protecting forms.

  • Rival RV (NextAuth): Session cookies that keep you signed in to your account, and CSRF tokens that protect forms and sign-in flows against cross-site request forgery.

Payment & Fraud Prevention

Optional

Used only if payment checkout or payout onboarding is activated. These features are disabled during pre-launch.

  • Stripe: Enables secure payment processing and helps Stripe detect and prevent fraudulent transactions. See the Stripe privacy policy for details on how Stripe uses this data.

Analytics Cookies

Optional

Help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. These are not required for the site to work.

  • PostHog: Measures page views and product usage (for example, which search filters are used and where booking flows are abandoned). Data is used in aggregate to improve the product.

Your choices

Consent banner. On your first visit we ask whether to allow analytics cookies. Until you accept, analytics runs without cookies or session recording and your activity is not linked to your account. Declining opts you out entirely. You can clear your choice by deleting this site’s browser storage.

Analytics opt-out. You can also opt out of PostHog analytics by enabling “Do Not Track” in your browser (which we honor), or by blocking analytics cookies with your browser settings or a content-blocking extension. Opting out does not affect your ability to use the site.

Browser controls. Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies on a per-site basis. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in and using authenticated features.
